1. Our role
MediMart is a multi-vendor marketplace connecting customers with independent Sellers. This policy explains how MediMart handles personal information when you browse or use the platform. A Seller may separately handle information it receives to fulfil an order and may have its own privacy responsibilities.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process account and contact details, delivery addresses, order and transaction details, communications with customer support or Sellers, and technical information such as device, browser, and usage data. We collect information you provide and information generated when you use the platform.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, display marketplace listings, process and communicate about orders, help Sellers fulfil purchases, provide support, maintain security, prevent fraud and misuse, improve the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not use marketplace product information as a substitute for medical advice.
4. When information is shared
We share order details needed for fulfilment with the relevant Seller, and may share necessary information with payment providers, delivery or technology providers, customer-support partners, and professional advisers who help operate the platform. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and the service. We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes.
5. Payments and security
Payments may be handled by payment providers or through arrangements shown at checkout. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own terms; MediMart does not ask you to share sensitive payment credentials in public listings or messages. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Cookies and analytics
Cookies or similar technologies may be used to keep the service working, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve performance. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
7. Retention and your choices
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, keep appropriate business and transaction records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or raise an objection to certain processing. Some information may need to be retained to complete orders or satisfy legal obligations.
8. Children and policy changes
The marketplace is intended for adults and business purchasers and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
9. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact MediMart through the support or contact options made available on the platform.
